Mark Worthington, JD

Mark joined Athira as General Counsel in June 2021 after working with the company as outside corporate counsel for several years. He has advised private and public life sciences and other companies on a wide range of corporate governance, compliance and transactional matters, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures, and worked closely with executive management teams on strategic business and legal matters.

Prior to joining Athira, Mark practiced corporate and securities law at Summit Law Group in Seattle, Washington, where he chaired the corporate/securities practice and served as the co-managing partner. He received his JD from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and BA from Stanford University.
